It has taken a little while to get this posted, but Ryan was able to come home on Sunday, February 19th after almost 8 weeks in the hospital (54 days.) Grandma Culwell was able to come the next day to help out. The kids were pretty excited about everything!
Jack loves his little brother. He says, "Oh, he's so cute!" almost every time he sees him. Unfortunately, though, Jack started throwing up the same night Ryan came home! After Jack got the stomach bug, Dad got it, then Callie got it. We've had quite a week!
Ryan came home weighing over 6lbs. He continued to gain weight in the 2 days between his hospital discharge and his pediatrician appointment, so that is a good sign.
Here is our first family picture at home! We are so glad to be together at last. It has been a difficult 2 months with all the trips to the hospital and babysitters.
Just for comparison, the picture below is Jack on the day he was born. The two little guys definitely have traits in common. Hopefully they will be good friends as they grow up!
