Christmas 2015 was great, despite Dad working 12 hour shifts throughout the holidays! The kids were very excited to decorate the tree and "deck the halls!"
On Christmas morning, since Dad was at work, the kids opened their stockings, but left the presents under the tree. That was hard for them, but they knew Dad would want to be with the family as we opened presents.
They spent Christmas day playing with their small gifts in their stockings, watching Christmas movies, and eating Christmas candy!
After Christmas dinner and bath time, Dad finally came home and the kids got to open presents- right before bed!
The kids were very patient and were very excited. They knew they could wake up the next day and have all day to play with their new toys.
The kids and parents both enjoyed the holiday very much. We always have fun together, even if it's not exactly when the calendar says its time to celebrate!
