The Halloween Post.

It's that time of year again! When we all dress up as strange creatures/people and parade around for each other. Not to mention the endless supply of free candy!

Jack was a lion again this year since the costume still fit him. He couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror after he was all dressed up. It was pretty funny.

Here he is after collecting his candy from the trunk or treating at the church party. He thought it was so cool that he had a bag full of candy all to himself! We forgot his special candy-collecting bag at home, so he had to use a grocery bag (sad), but we transferred the candy to its proper place once we got home.

Here are Mom and Jack, posing for the camera. I'm "in labor," for my costume. Unfortunately, no one seemed to get it at the party. Everyone was amused, but thought I was just a pregnant woman. Next time, I'll get an official hospital gown from an actual hospital instead of sewing one out of a big night gown I got from a thrift store...

And here is a picture of me, 9 months pregnant with Callie. As you can see, my costume was not far from the truth! (Excuse the quality of the picture- it was taken with my laptop webcam).

This is what Callie did to my belly when she got the chance. She was also growling as she grabbed at it. This means she's going to be jealous if she ever gets a baby brother or sister. We'll be in for it!

Our little lion and bumble bee at the church harvest party. Jack didn't quite understand Halloween yet, but as soon as he started collecting candy, he got the idea!

Callie was pretty tired at the party, so she wasn't in the best mood. We didn't stay very long. Just long enough to get some free food and candy!

We had to get a picture of Callie's little stinger and wings! She was a cute little bee!

And here's Jack lined up for the costume parade with all the other kids. He was, of course, the cutest of them all. We hope everyone had a happy Halloween! We sure did!

Jack certainly looks a lot happier this year. Last year in his costumed pictures he seemed kind of grumpy.
As always, they're completely adorable! :)
