Wisconsin Dells Vacation

We recently went on a trip to the Wisconsin Dells water park. Grandma and Grandpa Marshall arranged for all the Marshall kids to attend this wonderful vacation. Everyone was able to attend- that's six Marshall kids, plus spouses and children. It was very fun!

We managed to remember everything we needed- except the camera! So we only have cell phone pictures from this trip, but they still turned out pretty well. The first night we were in Wisconsin, part of the Marshall clan had dinner together at a nearby restaurant (since the rest of the family hadn't arrived from the airport quite yet.)

We were able to spend a whole week together in Wisconsin, and every night was filled with lots of fun! The older kids went on a "Wizard Quest." 

On one day, we all attended a deer park. It was definitely not the same as a typical zoo! 

The goats, pigs, and chickens were behind fences, but the deer were roaming free everywhere.

The kids were a little freaked out at first, but soon had a lot of fun feeding the deer.

The deer were definitely used to visitors. They knew we had food and were not shy about asking!

We also got to go for a ride on Grandpa's boat. The weather was a little chilly, but still enjoyable.

When we first arrived at the hotel, the kids were immediately drawn to the big windows around the indoor water park. This was just one of many throughout the town!

Since cell phones and water don't really mix, we don't have a lot of pictures from the water parks themselves. They were a lot of fun, though! 

Our rooms were really nice. The kids loved taking a bath in the huge tub overlooking the lake.

The hotel was actually right on the lake, so the view from our room and the hotel grounds was very nice!

And it's a good thing our rooms were plenty big because we fit everyone in them at once!

Also in the hotel was a 3D glowing mini-golf course with a built-in aquarium. Super cool!

We are so grateful to Chris and Rick for providing this wonderful vacation. We loved seeing everyone. The kids are still talking about seeing their cousins and all the fun they had. We are looking forward to seeing them again someday!
