The New School Year

School started up again on September 6th this year. Jack started 3rd grade at a new school (around here, there is a Primary school for K-2 and an Intermediate school for 3-5.) Callie started 1st grade, and Ryan gets to attend a preschool for half of the day. That means we have three kids in three different schools! It doesn't seem like that should happen so young!

Since the three older kids are in school, Luke and Mom get to hang out together for a few hours each morning. So far, Luke seems to be adjusting really well. He definitely misses his siblings, though!

Sometimes Luke gets to check out local parks. Here he is checking out a big flock of birds that are sitting on a bridge. He said, "I pet the bird?"

Luke has physical therapy and speech therapy some mornings. He got a sticker from his therapist and decided to stick it on his eye.

We visited another park and found a cool four-seated teeter totter.

And here's the cheeseball.

Last week was "spirit week" for the schools, and each had their own versions going on all week. Ryan had "crazy hair" day and wanted rainbow striped hair. Luke got a little color, too, of course.
