As I write this post, I can hear Jack in his room yelling and talking while he is supposed to be sleeping. Why isn't he sleeping, you ask? Well, he doesn't take naps well in the first place, but he is also practicing his new skills.
For the past week or so, he has been learning to stand up on anything and everything. He has now pretty much perfected it, so now instead of laying down and drifting to sleep in his bed, he will stand up over and over again.
I keep going in there and laying him back down and patting his back, but he's too hyped up to sleep. It makes him so excited that he can get into so much more stuff! He loves trying to walk along things. He's even let go a few times to try to balance himself.
While I'm glad he is so happy and more independent, I really wish he would sleep!
