Jack has been working on exercising his mind while doing daily activities. He loves hanging out on the couch with Santa, but sometimes he just needs more.

This is Jack trying to perfect his psychic abilities. He uses the remotes to predict what shows will come on the TV next. (I haven't told him there is a TV Guide that does the same thing...)

Here he is reading to me from his
Good Night Moon book. This actually is his favorite page. It has a little tiny mouse in a gray circle, and he always has to touch it every time we read the book.

And, of course, here he is working on his puzzle. He's got it down to a science: First, pull out all the pieces and throw them around on the floor, then bang them together, then chew on the star-shaped piece and abandon the puzzle.

And after all that intellectual stimulation, he returns to Santa and his comb and has long, deep conversations with him. Sometimes they talk about the weather, or politics, or sometimes the latest fashion craze.

Wow, what a smart kid, just like his parents!
I hope your two trips for your brother's wedding went okay. Can't wait to hear how they went.
Too cute Angie! Yes, they grow up so quickly!
