Sickness and drapes

We haven't posted anything in a while mostly because there just isn't much going on! Jack is still battling an ongoing sickness that just won't go away. It's still pretty cold outside, so we stay in and read a lot of books. It's been pretty quiet around here lately.

We did finally get around to putting up drapes in all the bedrooms, though, so maybe that is blog-worthy.

We got some stripey thermal-lined panels for the living room. We're hoping this will eventually be more of a formal room with a piano and no TV, so hopefully we can use the colors in the drapes to re-do the living room when the time comes.

We're leaning more towards purple in our little girl's room as opposed to pink, so we bought some lovely purple curtains for her. For some reason, I have an aversion toward all pink, all the time. The clothes she has are mostly pink, but there really aren't a lot of options out there that aren't pink for little girls!

We got the same set, but in green, for Jack's room. It's amazing what a difference one can make by just putting up curtains on the windows. We're feeling more settled in now and we're more prepared to welcome our new baby to our home!
