We decided to post a few pictures of the on-going construction at our house and give a little update about Jack. He had a well-baby check today at the doctor and he's doing very well!
This is the "before" picture of our dining room wall.
Here is a picture of the same angle, but no wall and a little safety rail of sorts.
And here is the way it looks as of today, with no safety rail and the pantry put in. We're excited about the pantry! But since there is no rail put in yet, it's a bit of a safety hazard. Jack (or anyone) could just fall right down the stairs there. Soon there will be a pantry door and a stained wooden railing along the stairs.
As far as Jack's appointment, he is developing well. He is in the 80th percentile for height and weight and the 95th for head size (as usual). We're hoping that this new baby girl will not have such a HUGE head!
