Let the Count-UP begin!

Well folks, tomorrow is the new baby's due date. Now we'll be counting how many days past that day this baby is going to go! Jack was almost exactly 2 weeks past his due date. Maybe this little girl will set a new record!

To help pass the time (and to avoid all the noise and mess from the construction at our house), we took another trip to the children's museum. Above, Jack is trying to actually eat the entire watermelon in one bite. Good luck with that.

Scooping up some rocks at "pebble beach." By the way, we came across at least four other little boys named Jack while playing today, and it really wasn't that crowded. It's becoming an epidemic!

The new exhibit at the museum is Lego castle land or something like that, so they had some giant Legos out for the kids to build with. Jack had fun sorting the colors and trying to build a nice, high tower.

This is actually the first time Jack went down a slide all by himself. He is a bit hesitant when it comes to climbing, jumping, or sliding, so it was nice to see him be brave and go down alone. Then he clapped and said, "Woo hoo!"

Here he is playing in a sandbox, of sorts. The sand is actually little plastic pellets, so it's not quite as messy, but still fun!

For some reason he really liked grabbing the poor bears' noses. He just loves those Berenstain bears!

And here he is collecting and sorting chicken eggs. He actually was trying to feed the eggs to the chickens, but I told him that's cannibalism and it's not looked on well in the chicken community.

Fun times! Wish us luck with the new little one! Hopefully that will be the next post!
