Grandma and Grandpa Marshall came to visit recently and we got to visit our favorite place- the Museum of Play! The kids spent a good deal of time in the Dora and Diego exhibit again, since it will soon be gone.
Jack got a little obsessed with this area featuring "acorns" that fill baskets and go in various holes. He stayed there for a long time.
Grandpa helped Callie take care of some animals at the animal hospital. She looked so cute in her little explorer vest.
Jack tried on a pirate vest to sail the seas. The kids often play "pirates" at home, so it was fun for them to see a big pirate ship.
Jack made some geometric shapes and tried out the big kaleidoscope. They have a lot to explore and play with creatively at the museum.
Even the adults got to play around a little. :o)
Callie was actually not feeling well during our visit, but she hung on until the end- finally falling asleep on the drive home.
Yay for carousels and grandparents!
