We recently got our Christmas tree up and decorated! It doesn't quite feel like Christmas until the tree arrives. This year, we planned to cut down our tree from a local tree farm as we have the past two years. We forgot, though, that the tree farm we had planned on visiting is only open on the weekends. We got the kids all bundled up and ready to go on a weekday, then arrived at the farm to find it closed. Oops. So we went to a local greenhouse-type store and bought one there.
The kids had a great time decorating the tree. Of course, after they hung all the ornaments, Mom and Dad had to redistribute them throughout the tree since the kids can only reach the bottom!
Ryan helped, too.
Jack accidentally broke the star tree-topper while we were decorating, so we couldn't quite finish, but it still ended up looking nice!
At the end of the day, the kids got to have some ice cream while they watched "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." The house seems much more festive now and we're all excited for Christmas!
