We took advantage of the warmer weather last week and got our garden started up for the year. Of course, this week is back to colder temperatures, but hopefully our seeds will survive!
A few days later, Dad decided to start his new hobby- model rockets! We went to the park to try them out for the first time. The kids were very excited!
Callie and Ryan were anticipating a loud noise.
The kids counted down- 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... blast off!
We were able to recover the rocket after its first launch and then we set up a new launch.
This time, Jack to to set off the launch!
Ryan stayed far away, getting a little worried.
And there's Dad, running through the field to catch the second launch. The kids are really looking forward to more time with the rockets. Fun times!
