Jack's Baptism

Jack was baptized on June 18th, 2016. It was a very special day for him and for our family.

We belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When children turn eight years old, they can choose to be baptized into the church and become official members for the rest of their lives. Jack made the choice and we picked a date that worked for everyone who wanted to be there.

The kids had been practicing "When I Am Baptized" for a long time and were ready to sing before the baptism. Ryan ended up being a bit too tired to handle it, but they still did a great job.

Jack's primary teachers gave him a very cool towel with his name and baptism date on it.

Grandpa Culwell flew out for the baptism, and Grandpa and Grandma Marshall drove out with Aunt Lindsay and her kids. Plus, Saela was able to come along since the Marshalls left from Saela's house.

It was a great day and Jack was very excited to be baptized. We are proud of him for making the choice. He is growing up to be a wonderful boy and we love him very much! Thank you to everyone who came to share his special day!
