Jack turned eight years old on May 21st. He designed his own cake, and we decorated accordingly. The kids helped with the balloons!
Squirtle is a Pokemon who sprays water, and Charmander shoots out fire. He wanted them shooting at each other across the cake. He actually wanted more of an explosion in the middle, but Mom was not quite ready for that much detail!
We stayed with the "blue vs. red" theme for the decorations.
We gave Jack some choices about where to celebrate, and he chose to go to Ontario Play & Cafe. Then we had Texas Roadhouse for his special dinner. No complaints from Mom and Dad!
Jack had a great day and we are so glad we were able to celebrate with him! He continues to amaze us every day with the things he learns. He is a really special kid and we feel very lucky to have him in our family. We love you, Jack!
