In July, we drove to Nauvoo, Illinois to see Grandpa and Grandma Marshall. The kids did very well on the long drive and they were very excited to see their grandparents.
The kids played in the water in the yard and had a great time beating the heat!
Luke figured out how to spray the hose and Grandma was nice enough to let him spray her!
We also went to a beach to take a ride on Grandpa's boat. Luke was relaxing in the shade and the grownups were talking, then we looked over and saw that Luke had gotten an M&M and somehow rubbed it all over his face! Why? We do not know.
While we were visiting, Keara and Gwen were there as well! The kids were very happy to spend time with their cousins and Aunt Annie for a few days.
The kids always have to check out the Pioneer Past Times.
Jack wanted to document his puzzle-solving skills.
We always have so much fun when we visit Nauvoo and Grandma and Grandpa Marshall are wonderful hosts to us. Thank you!
