While Jack and Mom visited Washington, Jack was finally able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine! He kind of freaked out when he touched the grass and refused to walk on it, so he sat on a blanket. He loves bubbles, but he doesn't watch the actual bubbles floating around. He is more interested in the person holding the wand and blowing.

Here he is trying to learn how to blow bubbles by himself. In the end, he ended up just eating the bubble wand. He'll get it eventually...

And here are Grandpa and Jack enjoying the beautiful day on the swing. He took Grandpa's bubble container to chew on, too.

And the highlight of the week: Jack learned how to crawl up stairs. This is a skill he does not get to practice at home because we have no stairs (at least none that are safe for him to crawl up). It only took a little practice before he was climbing like a pro. Here he is smiling so proud!

And here he is after he made it to the top. The goal was the bubbles, clearly. He had so much fun playing in the sunshine and spending time with his Grandpa. Hopefully there will be many more sunny days to come!
