It's the moment you've all been waiting for...the posting of tons of pictures of Jack at his water babies class!

These pictures are from his second time in the pool (we forgot the camera the first time.) He did very well and didn't cry or whine or anything! He's a natural little fish!

Here he is just smiling away while Daddy lets him get used to the nice warm water. He is definitely the cutest kid in the class.

The babies often line up along the wall to sing songs and get ready to jump in the water. They either stand or sit on the edge and then the parents send them up high in the air before splashing down into the water. So much fun!

This is a picture of Jack's first official dunk in the water. The teachers told the parents to wait until the babies close their eyes in preparation for the dunk. Apparently that means their nasal passages will also be closed so the babies won't inhale a bunch of water.

This is Jack recovering from that first dunk under water. He was a little surprised at first, but after going under several times throughout the class, it didn't phase him at all.

This is his "dunking face." He knows it's coming because his Dad counts to three, then raises him up before he dips him in the water. You can see him squeezing his eyes shut and pursing his lips. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever.

They have these "jet packs," as they call them, to help the babies learn to float on their backs. It's a brick of Styrofoam with a strap on it, but "jet pack" works, too.

And here is Jack relaxing on his jet pack. He does very well getting the water up to his face. It seems like he is able to really enjoy himself in the pool.

He is very good at holding himself up on the edge of the pool. The teachers want the babies to learn how to reach out as they approach the edge to support themselves. Jack is such a big boy!

This water babies class is also a great opportunity for Jack to really get to spend some quality time with his Dad. He doesn't get to see much of him during the week, so each Saturday they will get some father-son bonding time in the water. He's learning to trust his Dad and to enjoy spending time with him.

Huh, it sounds like your class is a lot different from Joseph's class, but I'm glad that Jack loves it. I love his "dunking face."
