Jack spent his first night in a hotel after we arrived in New York. He was just like a rock star in that he felt the need to trash the hotel room.

When he is at home, he loves to find tissue boxes and/or wipes containers and pull one wipe/tissue out after another. Usually we stop him right away, but we thought, "Hey, we're here to use the amenities provided by the hotel, which includes the tissues."

He managed to pull out quite a few and had a great time doing it. As long as he knows that once we're home, no more pulling tissues out! It's just kind of hard to move the tissue box in a hotel seeing how it is a permanent hole in the side of the counter!

He also distributed the tissues throughout the room. Very nice. He actually slept quite well that night, which is something we were worried about. We made a kind of furniture blockade in the corner of the room for his bed so he wouldn't be able to see us before falling asleep, and he did pretty well.

In the morning, he wanted to order some room service. We left him to his phone calls while we cleaned up and packed.

He said, "Hey, stop taking my picture while I'm on the phone!"

"What do you need, Mom? This is an important call."
