Callie had a check-up for the two-week mark yesterday. Jack also went to the doctor and got three shots. He did very well, but definitely didn't enjoy himself with those needles!
Here is a first official shot of the two kids together at home. Jack is hesitant to touch Callie most of the time and gets a little apprehensive when she starts to cry. He wants to give her a pacifier right away. He's willing to give her a kiss, but he only pretends. He gets close enough to her head to look like he's kissing her, but never quite touches her.
In this picture, Callie is wearing pajamas that I (Angie) made in my children's clothing class years ago during college. I made a lot of baby clothes in that class, but I had no idea when I was even going to have kids, so they weren't for any child in particular.
Length: 22 inches (95th percentile)
Weight: 10lbs 13oz (past the 95th percentile, not quite on the charts)
Head circumference: 39cm (95th percentile)
So apparently we make big babies. At least she is proportionate so far. And her head is smaller than Jack's. She is more of an average size than Jack was.

nice work on the p.j.s!!! those are awesome. oh, and even better work on the kids.;) they're beautiful.
Sheesh, she's chubby! I can't wait to squish her little face this summer :)
I love little babies button noses, they are so cute! She is such a doll. I'm glad to hear that Jack is being careful around her. Joseph I think is over his apprehensions of breaking Alice, because I'm catching him trying to pick her up. Yikes!
