Construction Completion

Our basement/dining room construction was finished right before Callie was born. Thank goodness for that, too, because dealing with construction in the house is difficult enough without a newborn! So above is the before picture from the dining area, and below...

They took out the wall, added the railing and put in a pantry.

We haven't put any shelves in the pantry yet, so Jack likes to play in it. Eventually Jack won't be able to climb in... Well, maybe he will still climb in and play with the food in there!

One half of the basement was already finished, while the other half was just cement floor and unfinished walls. Here is our lovely basement all done! Of course, we spent all our money just getting it finished and now we don't have any left to furnish it!

We didn't invest in finishing the laundry room and bathroom quite yet, but they're all framed in and ready for when we are able to finish them. There is also a storage area and the big door on the right is a utility area with the water heater and such things. We are very excited to finally have it completed!
