Children's Museum, Part Uno

While the Culwell family was here, we went to the Strong National Museum of Play again. Jack just can't get enough of that place and we're happy to go whenever we have guests!

Here are Aunt Miriam, Grandma Culwell, Jack, and Mommy on the steps of 123 Sesame Street. It's quite a famous place!

And here's Callie hanging out in the stroller. She was happy in there for a little while, but she prefers to be held.

Callie and Grandma in front of the home of many famous Sesame Street Monsters, including Bert and Ernie!

Here is Jack learning about how deaf people communicate. They had two TTY machines set up and we could send messages to Aunt Miriam across the room. Jack just loved that he could type the letters and numbers and they would show up on the screen!

Jack and Aunt Miriam rode the Strong Express Train! It's not exactly the most thrilling ride in the world, but at least you get to see some cows and rabbits along the way!

Jack enjoyed playing in the "faux" sand pit (not really sand, just little plastic pellets). It's funny to see him experience new things, like feeling the little pellets on his bare feet. He was hesitant to walk around at first, but got used to it.

Here's how Callie spent most of her time. She is perfectly content to be carried around in the wrap for quite a while. She'll doze off a little or just watch everyone around her. She's a pretty easy-going girl, which makes life a lot easier for her parents!

Jack loves the hula hoops they have at the museum. It's nice that such a simple toy can be so versatile and entertaining!

By the end of the day, Jack was pretty tired, but still had enough energy for one more ride around the carousel with Aunt Miriam. What a fun day!
