Pigtails and Ornaments

We managed to squeeze Callie's hair into pigtails for the first time the other day. She didn't seem to mind them.

She might as well get used to it, because we plan on keeping her hair cute and styled as soon as she has enough to style!

Since we've been married, we've made it a tradition to collect Christmas ornaments whenever we travel or have a special occasion. We don't travel much, but we have been a few places. These pictures are probably not terribly interesting to most people, but we'd like to have a record somewhere of when and where we got the ornaments. Sometimes it is hard to remember!

We also receive homemade ornaments for each member of our family every year from Great-Grandma Culwell. We love them very much!

We bought this ornament in Leavenworth, Washington while we were on our honeymoon.

This ornament was purchased in Nauvoo, Illinois this past year when we visited Sander's family.

We got this ornament from Disneyland when we traveled there in the summer of 2006.

This ornament says "Our First Christmas Together." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Sander's Mom, Chris, gave us this for Christmas in 2003.

This is a beautiful ornament given to us as a wedding gift. It didn't come with a tag or note, so we don't know where it came from, but it is sterling silver and has always been pretty special to us.

Sander's Mom, Chris, made this ornament for me when I graduated from college! (A special occasion, indeed!)

We just picked this up right here near Palmyra, New York. If we don't end up settling down here, it will be a nice reminder of our time here.

We purchased this ornament on our first trip out to Nauvoo, Illinois with the Culwell family in 2005.

Sander got this ornament in Yellowstone National Park while we were doing our time in Rexburg, Idaho for college.

There might be a few I have missed, and I do apologize to those ornaments. You are still special! We hope to continue collecting ornaments as we have new experiences and expand our little family!
