Museum of Science!

We went to the Rochester Museum of Science today to see the dinosaur exhibit. But before we get to that, though, here are a couple of random pictures of the kiddos that don't really need a whole post for themselves, so they will be squeezed into this post!

Callie and Jack got to ride the carousel at the mall with Dad the other day. This was Callie's first time riding on the actual horse, instead of in the backpack on Mom's back! She had a great time!

And here is a picture of Jack after getting into Mom's makeup (yet again). This time, it was the eyeliner that got abused. He thought he looked pretty darn handsome!

So, here are the pictures from the Museum of Science. We weren't sure we were going to continue with the trip since we had all missed a significant amount of sleep the night before (see post below), but the kids seemed to be fine, so off we went!

Jack wasn't sure what to make of this huge, moving T-Rex that greeted us as we entered the museum. He wasn't scared, but didn't feel the need to smile at the thing.

We visited some penguins hanging out in a glass box before we went out searching for more dinosaurs. Jack pointed out that their names are "A" and "B."

There were several mechanical dinosaurs roaming around on the top floor of the museum. They made "life-like" sounds (although who really knows what noises they made seeing how they are all dead...), and they stared down any human who dared look their way!

Jack was thoroughly impressed with the dinosaurs. Maybe one day he will become a famous paleontologist...

Callie was amused by the creatures, but mostly just wanted to eat some snacks and wiggle in the backpack.

Overall, the kids had fun and we got to get out of the house for an adventure! It was a good day!
