This is the first year we've dyed Easter eggs. Jack is almost three now, so we figured it was time to start the tradition. And fortunately, Grandma and Grandpa Marshall were able to visit us and help out with the eggs!
Here are Jack and Mom getting some eggs ready for dipping. Jack was very excited about the whole process!
Here are Grandma and the kids displaying their finished products. We had to make plenty of eggs, just in case some broke. And, of course, to make sure we had plenty of color choices.
Callie was just a little confused about why everyone was sitting around the table, but no one was eating! We had to supply her with a few snacks so she wouldn't be too stir crazy. As far as Callie is concerned, kitchen and/or dining room means food!
Here's Jack's cheesy grin with all of his beautiful Easter eggs! This will be a fun tradition to hold every year, as most families do. We're looking forward to the creativity that will surely come from our kids as they get older!
The Easter egg kit came with a lot of stickers for the eggs, and some made their way onto Callie and Jack. Here are Callie's beautiful earrings, supplied by Grandma.

We colored eggs last night. I had been looking forward to it all week. But during dinner Joseph fell asleep and missed out on it! I was so disapointed because I know he would have loved doing it. Oh well. Ben and I had a good time doing them all ourselves. Kind of like being a kid again. :)
