Kiss the Cook!

Jack recently got a new play kitchen from Grandma and he was SO excited! He has been wanting one for a while now, but the one we wanted to get had been out of stock for a long time.

We don't have much food for him to play with yet, but he does have his cupcakes and ice cream from Christmas. We also went to the dollar store and bought some cups, plates, and utensils.

Here's Jack enjoying a meal with Elmo and Cookie Monster (in their color-coordinating chairs.) He thought it was super cool that he could prepare the cupcakes in his "real" oven now instead of pretending various random toys were an oven!

Callie decided Elmo had had enough cupcakes and needed a big hug. She loves stuffed animals. She has even been known to hug Mom's skeins of yarn because they are big and soft!

Jack wanted to have some cereal. He got his bowl and spoon, and then said, "But I don't have any cereal. It's all gone!" His imagination isn't quite to the point where he can make food appear out of thin air!

Callie had an important phone call to make. She was calling Daddy to tell him to come home from work so she can play with him!

Drinking mustard. Yuck.

We got some video of Jack playing with his kitchen, but it will take a little while to go through it and edit the good stuff. Jack wanted to try to make a video, too!

Jack has a message for Grandma: "Thank you for the kitchen! I love you!"
