Jack's hair was getting long again, which is cute in a "little boy" way, but we decided to cut it short so he could be more mature. Plus, since cutting Callie's hair a little in the back, both kids had the same length of hair! This way, at least Callie is more girly! Above is the "before" picture.
And here's the "after" picture for Jack.
Callie is still working on growing some hair. For some reason, her bangs just will not grow. She was getting too much of a mullet for our taste, so we had to cut the back just a little. She's still got enough for some little pigtails!
We decided to show off Jack's new hairdo at the Museum of Play. Here are the kids trying to open the doors at 123 Sesame Street. Jack is trying to use our van keys to open the door, since no one answered when he rang the bell and knocked. It still won't open!
We stopped at the Alchemist's Laboratory to work on some magical potions. They have "ingredients" set out and some bowls to mix them in. The bottles don't open, though, so the kids just have to pretend to pour in the various ingredients. Jack is checking out the spider's eggs in this picture.
Callie suggested some... other ingredient. They all have weird names like spider's eggs and frog's eyes or something. They had fun mixing up their potion, and then we made Jack a magic wand that he got to carry all around the museum.
