After we returned from our trip to Washington, it was time for Ryan to start a new chapter in his life- solid food! He had been eyeing our food for quite a while and was anxious to try some for himself. We skipped purees and went straight for squishy foods. His very first food was a banana.
He liked it!
Since his first attempt at eating, he has tried peaches, bread, Gerber puff snacks, and a few others. He is really loving his new eating experiences!
We also got some cute pictures of Jack when he attended the latest kids' workshop at Home Depot. It was National Firefighter Day or something like that, so there was a fire truck there and Jack got to make his own toy fire truck.
Jack is going to be a firefighter for Halloween, so this worked out pretty well! He thought it was super cool to see the truck and all the equipment.
