"Staycation" Day 2

We visited our favorite museum earlier this week as part of our July "Staycation." That means a vacation taken without leaving... or something. Dad only gets one week off from work, so we filled it up with as much local fun as we could!

Our plans included bowling, Dairy Queen, the Museum of Play, the Zoo, Jungle Jolt, a movie in theaters, eating at PF Chang's, and maybe some fireworks on the 4th. Oh, and a project at Home Depot followed by Texas Roadhouse. Phew!

Grandma Marshall sent super cute matching shirts for the boys, plus a cute dress for Callie. They're all so handsome!

We went to the butterfly room and Jack really, really wanted a butterfly to land on his finger. He walked all around holding his finger out, just waiting.

Ryan was fascinated with this tortoise (or... turtle?) and he wanted to watch it the whole time.

Right before it was time to go, a museum employee asked the kids if they wanted to hold a butterfly. Need you even ask?

Jack and Callie loved it!

On the steps of 123 Sesame Street!

We'll get the rest of the week's activities published soon!
