We went to the Museum of Play today, thinking it would be a nice, relaxing day. The weather is really nice and sunny, and it's a Wednesday morning. But no, there were children running amok everywhere! Apparently there were several field trips going on today and perhaps some school had the day off. Who knows. It just makes the experience less pleasant when there are tons of unchaperoned older children running around, getting in the way and taking over everything. But the kids had fun, anyway. We just tried to steer clear of the masses of children.
It is very difficult to get a good picture of Callie when we are out and about. She does not like to pause and smile for the camera because she is much too busy having fun!
Here, Jack was willing to say "cheese" for the camera, but Callie wouldn't give me the time of day. She wanted to explore!
And here she looks like she is about to beat me with a banana! She says, "Stop trying to get me to smile for the camera- or else!"
We love the play food at the museum. It is so life-like! Callie was pretty determined to get this banana open so she could eat it!
Here are the kiddos having fun with the huge train table. Callie was a little too short, but still had a good time.
Callie might actually be trying to say "cheese" here...
Still no smiles on the carousel, but she really was having a good time!
