I was recently asked to make some cupcakes for a graduation party. It's great to actually have an excuse to make cupcakes!
I made graduation caps, a little diploma, and a star representing their school colors--all edible and tasty!
Since I had so many to decorate, I decided to make a few different kinds. I already have experience with the butterflies, so I made more with different colors.
The girls hosting the party are both heading off to BYU-Idaho, so I created some personalized "college cupcakes!"
I had a great time attending BYU-Idaho, so hopefully these girls will, too.
I saw these in my cupcake book and just had to try them out. My frosting was not as thick as what appeared to be in the book, but they seemed to turn out okay in the end.
These flowers are infested with ladybugs!
It's always fun to create new cupcakes and try out the designs in my books. I'm happy to have a reason to be creative and help out a celebration!
