Homemade Toys

Since we didn't bring very many toys with us to Washington for our visit, Grandma Culwell made Jack and Callie a little stove to cook on out of a cardboard box! They love it!

There were already some fun pots and pans to play with, and now the kids have an oven and stove to cook with. So far, Jack has made noodles, soup, and baked Grandpa's sugar-free candy!

The kids are laughing at each other in this picture. They are so goofy together sometimes. For the most part, they get along great and are finding new ways to play together every day.

Callie is so strong! She can carry the whole oven across the room!

Our little cutie girl.

We tried to get some pictures of the kids together, but Callie would only smile after the picture was taken!

These silly kids are having tons of fun getting to know their Grandpa and Grandma Culwell and Aunt Miriam. Callie actually cried last time Aunt Miriam left for school because she wanted to play with her! (It was also nap time, though. She was feeling a little emotional!)

We've had to change our night time routine a little bit since we're not at home. We all read books together after bath time. Callie is still adjusting to our new environment, so she needs extra cuddles sometimes. Jack loves to sing to her after we read. Callie just smiles at him and tries to poke him.

The kids have matching penguin footy pajamas! It's fun to find clothes that match (usually pajamas) for these little guys. We'll have to search pretty hard to find some clothes that all three kids can wear when our newest baby arrives!
