Jack and Callie started school today. Jack is now in 1st grade and Callie started a preschool program. Normally we would not be interested in our children attending preschool, but around here, Kindergarten goes all day. We thought it would help our kids get used to the idea of all-day school if they start with half a day. Plus, it's free. That's always a bonus!
Jack was very excited to start school again. He has such a great time!
Callie was extremely nervous about starting school. She has recently started getting very upset when kids around her start crying loudly. It really bothers her, and she is always worried that another kid will start crying at any moment. Luckily, her first day went very well and she was happy when she came home. She's looking forward to the rest of the year!
