Here are some pictures from our latest trip to the National Museum of Play. It's getting hard to keep track of how many times we have been there! Above, Jack is working on his dancing skills playing "Dance, Dance Revolution!"
Sitting together on the steps of 123 Sesame Street. Jack tried to get someone to answer the door, but to no avail.
(She's dancing.)
Playing on one of the many computers available for the children.
Mmm... Plastic ice cream!
Jack is teaching Callie how to play chess. She already beat him in 2 out of 3 games!
This is a fun area where there are costumes kids can wear to put on a play. There are also areas to play with the stage lighting and cameras. There are seats for an audience, and the kids can see themselves on a screen as they act on stage. It's usually overrun with older children using it for its actual purpose, but today, Jack and Callie got to check it out for a few minutes.
These next two pictures convey what the kids did with their time. Jack hid behind the curtain, then Callie would peek in and Jack would scare her. Then she'd run away from the curtain, laughing hysterically. Then go back and do it all over again!
Yes, yes, it was hilarious... Silly kids.
And here's Jack playing with blocks and cars in an appropriate manner at the activity table...
And here's what Callie did with the blocks from the activity table... She seems to be trying to squish her face with them. Who knows.
