On our way to Nauvoo, Illinois this month for a family wedding, we stayed overnight in a hotel. This was Callie's first hotel experience, and it was Jack's second. We, of course, had to try out the hotel pool. Callie has actually never been in a "real" pool (just the little ones in our yard.) She had a blast!
It has been a long time since Jack has been in a pool. He took a short swimming class when he was younger, but he didn't remember much from that. It took him a little while to get comfortable, but he still had a lot of fun!
Callie's new favorite word is "pool." She had so much fun and was very upset when we had to leave. She just couldn't understand why we couldn't stay in the water all night!
Jack eventually got comfortable enough to jump in from the edge.
Family fun!
Jack liked to help pull Callie around the pool. We have one more hotel stay on the return trip, so we'll have to have more pool fun!

I'm glad your kids had so much fun in the pool. I'm excited to hear how your visit to Nauvoo goes. THat has to be one of my favorite places on earth.
